This would make a great project for the diorama craftsmen on the forum using John's new Mobile Pigeon Loft.
Photo taken at Contalmaison, France.

ABSOLUTELY! Don't you just love it when you can identify an exceptionally done TS model to the "real deal" in a historical period photograph. Great find Randy, thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes really nice photo for inspiration to duplicate with TS's. Thanks Randy. Robin.

Randy,

Really great photograph and as I am expecting to pick my pigeon wagon from my local TS shop this weekend a great challenge to consider.

Regards
Mark

Great to see the interest and enthusiasm and I am really looking forward to what you guys come up with. Seems like there are some figures already out there that could be used or converted for this scene. To start you just need to paint some of those white and blue Signal Service brassards on the right sleeves of the tunics.

Randy,

From some promotional shots from JJD I believe in the next release is a pigeon handler.

Regards
Mark

I really hope John has a set of French Army handlers in the works for the loft. -- Al
