In addition to horses mules were used to pull these wagons, usually with two pairs. You will also notice the riders as well as two drivers.
Are there JJD WWI Collectors that would like to see John also do some mules and riders to go with the Pigeon Wagon? I will pass it on to John.

Excellent pics Randy! Thanks for sharing them. I think I'll stick with the horses, so that I can use them to pull the GS wagon and hopefully an 18 pounder.
Cheers,
Brendan

Horses for me. If I want mules, I'll look up Francis. :wink2: -- Al

I wouldn't mind a good team of mules at all. Mules would make a great contrast to the horse team. Nothing like a good ole Army Mule. I plan to keep my pigeon wagon unhitched and only get the horse team to go with the GS Wagon. However, if mules were provided as an alternative I think I would hitch up the mobile hutch.

I would prefer a team of mules..... The GS wagon moved to #1 on my want list
