Hey guys, me and my friend just got done watching the movie play dirty. Its about a special ops division of the British military in Africa during the 1940s. This movie, i believe was all around pretty good. Nothing special though. I completely think that they could have used more realistic supplies. For example, throughout the entire movie you could easily spot out "Halftracks" that were obviously not of the correct country. Almost 100% of the vehicles used in the movie were American, and some of them were even decorated as a nazi vehicle. Even the uniforms were screwed up. From italian uniforms in allied lines, to horribly done nazi uniforms, they were a constant bother. And dont even get me started on the weapons. They only used what was supposed to be an mp40 throughout the movie, however it had holes in the barrel, and half of the gun was wooden. Even though this movie had its flaws, every movie does, and i still enjoyed watching it.

I agree with you, that in about most war movies, the wrong vehicles are used. For exceptions to that rule, see Kelly Heroes, WW2 or Lion of the Dessert ,Pre WW2..See Sahara Humprey Bogart B/W ,WW2..Saving Private Ryan, WW2 and Band of Brothers , WW2 series.....Not even these are complete 100%, but at least, there is an attempt at accuracy..Michael

Yes every ww2 movie makes and attempt, and they do the best job they can, im sure. And i have seen most of the movies you listed and that is just a little better quality job that I would be looking for. All im asking them is to try a bit harder, and if they cant afford some things or cant find others, than by all means, use what you have, but i still think they could've tried a little bit harder.

Some body told me that they don't use real bullets either.
