Polish Winged Hussars (7 Viewers)

Flag is static but are you suggesting I should damage the beatifully hand painted flag trying to bend it? Artist made flag like that and not much I can do about this.
The rest of the figure is completely right: it was windy day and hussar is not static.

No no don't change anything
Once again it's a a very detailled painting worth to be seen

This time something very unique, I don't think you will see it anywere else. Polish Winged Hussar over Turkish Delli diorama.

Here is something similar that I added to my collection a while back. I think you NEED this one too {sm4}

Hi Zach

Where did you get it from? I was searching for that dio!

Janusz

Its from Medallion Miniatures. I got it in Chicago last year. When I think of Medallion figures, I always think single mounted figure. when I saw this small vignette I just fell in love with it.

Superb Zach. When I think of Medallion figures, I find the colors used a little bit too pastel like sometimes but some are spot on like this dio.
Thanks for sharing

Alex

I thought people might be interested in seeing the Hussars again due to FL's impending release.

Grenada studio Polish Hussars, for me best set of polish hussars ever created

Thanks for adding to this thread Janusz. I took a look at the entire thread again and particularly like your Ottomans. Are you planning to add or have you added the First Legion Ottomans and Marmluks.

They are still in my plans... can't buy everything at once. I got 5 aeroart jannisaries last year. Will make photos some day and publish but for now wanted to show almost complete Grenada studio hussars collection which are my best now...

For those without deep pockets who would be interested in a 1/18 scale display model of a Polish Winged Hussar, a Polish Company; Tissotoys recently released a VII Century Polish Winged Hussar Action Figure item 12401of a quality and size equal to the Schleich Medieval figures. The figure is available on eBay at the Bestprodukt Store where their are photos of the figure. The figure stands 6.750 inches high to the top of the wings. The lance with pinion is 9.0 inches long. Two swords and pistols are applied as individual pieces. The attention to detail and historical accuracy is impressive for a $20.00 +8.00 shipping action figure. Makes a nice desk display and its not fragile. I believe these are sold at the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw.

Are these Russian figures? If not, they don’t belong in this section as it’s for Russian manufacturers.

Since you presume to be the guardian of the gate to this thread please clarify if figures from the Ukraine are acceptable. Prior to 1990 Ukraine was part of the USSR and is now an independent country. The same question applies to figures from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
