Since this question was asked in the "Collections" thread, let's find out. What is your favorite existing First Legion line?

Bill , Why you have to make it so difficult :(
Although the Crusader line shows great potential and the Stalingrad line has the best German and Russian figures I have ever owned . I would not be being honest if I voted for anything other then the ........NAPOLEONIC LINE BABY :D they just can't be beat IMO . they are what I always hoped someone would make . Like they say "you gotta kiss a lot of toads" no more jack .. All the best Gebhard

Why is the Crusades not included as an option?

I'm sure that it was pure oversight. You could start a crusade to include the crusades!

It will be a peaceful one - no military build-up whatsoever :D

I could veer towards the Crusades when the mounted knights are released

My bad for sure. I simply left out the second line I am collecting.:eek::D

Perhaps we can get a moderator to add it? Feel free to contact them and refer them to me for confirmation if needs be.

I see the flagship is sailing graciously
Matt are u watching
Prussian cavalry Liebhusaren Hussars
infantry 4th Silesian Regiment
Matt are u listening u can ask Gebhard about it
THANK U Maple Leaf

Tah ;-).

I voted Crusades - as Samurai are without competition anyway :).

It is difficult though to single one out - I like the sculpting of the Crusaders, but from a historical interest I would be more attracted towards ACW or AWI...

So I guess you are right..can't make up my mind ;-).

Well as Matt said, we are a very small sample but to me the flagship dominance suggests an excuse for a turn to the Peninsula.:D

Bill, my man only you could some how turn these poll results into an endorsement for First legion turning to the Peninsula ;) Like I've said a hundred times i admire your determination but i think the Peninsula has far less appeal then the battles on mainland Europe ;) All the Sharpe's fans aside :D Maybe you could start a poll to see which Battle current and possible future First Legion Napoleonic collectors would like to see get coverage and why.... that could be interesting . All the best and keep fighting the good fight... :) Gebhard

Well my friend, like most questions, it depends on the details, and of course who you ask.;):D You may indeed feel the mainland battles have more appeal, as does Matt. Worldwide, I think you might be surprised how many would rally to my simple way of thinking.:cool::D Remember, besides all the English related folks, the Spanish and Portuguese, we have the KGL for the German fans and of course the French as the necessary "evil".:p:D Over the hill and far away indeed.:D

While the Nap line is FL's first and foremost, I do have to continue my personal support for the AWI line. As I have said before, FL is filling a definite need in the collecting world with their AWI range. And for some collectors like me, the slower number of releases with this range isn't always a bad thing. Helps to be able to save more money!

Boy, Gebhard...that is soooo loaded...let's face it, with 20 years worth of battles, and uniform changes at different times for each nation, you pretty much have Prussian pre and post 1808...Brits pre and post 1812, Austians pre and post 1803 and pre and post 1809, Russians. pre and post 1808 and pre and post 1812...and the French..well every 10 minutes, to say nothing of the occupied territories and allies. It might make more sense just to stick to representing figures during a fixed period rather than a specific battle. So far FL have managed that pretty well, I think. (Shrug)

Since the Napoleonic Line Can never be beaten by any manufacturer, I voted for it. second would be the future releases of The Crusades. Now, If they can just start A Roman Line To compete with Aeroart, That would be perfect too!! ;)

If it's possible, I want to shift my allegiance to the Crusades :D

That option was not available when I voted, and Naps got my earlier vote by default

Fair enough. Perhaps Scott or Dave or one of the other mods can do it for you. Just drop one of them a PM.
