Strat-
Always good to hear from a Greek collector- I think we could have used a little more tact here and just omitted the "Not interested" option- those not interested could have just not voted. I placed my vote on your website. Those who took the "not interested" option probably didn't mean anything by it. I can think of fewer things more exciting to do in a day (legally) than to sit by the fireplace and read about Leonidas and Alexander. The ancient Greeks were just EXTRAORDINARY persons and anyone who doesn't have a shelf of books dedicated to the Greeks cannot consider themselves a fan of military history.
That being said, I don't think KC should touch the Greeks. The Roman line was average at best- the big highlights were the fort and the Barbarians. The Romans just weren't "crimson" enough and poses just weren't very exciting. If KC were to do a Greek line, I just don't think, based on the Roman offering, it would do them justice.
St. Pete does some extraordinary figs but are somewhat romanticized with all the detail on the foot soldiers. Conte's figures are nice, I didn't get them just because I felt they looked like hoplite's on 'roids, but the "three dimensional" figures really set a new standard. I went with East of India's Greeks and haven't been let down at all. All three of these companies do Greeks well and KC would have some ground to cover to shorten the gap and be competitive.
