This would seem to be a great way to let Andy know of our interest.

I have already declared my interest several times - and for different theatres. North Africa, including 8th army and africa corps as they both 'nicked' each others' stuff all the time. NW Europe and far east for Slim.

Yes, but it will be more meaningful if Andy can see a statistical up and down vote. Since he's a manufacturer, if many people say they would buy one that could make more of an impression than just a thread of what people say they would like to see made.

Brad

This is an awesome tool for K&C does it allow to iliminate those that really would like to have a bedford from voting more than once....... or can i (oops) i mean can others vote as many times as they like.

Monty

Unfortunately only once. There's an old saying in New York from the Tammany Hall days when Boss Tweed controlled New York City in the late 1800's: "Vote early and often." Too bad we can't do that here.

Sounds nice if I collected WW2 but I don't so .... no thanks.....:)
Does my vote even count Brad...lol

We can do a Napoleonics poll for items you would like Andy to make. Tell me what it is and I can do it.

Thanks Brad for starting this poll. Perhaps we need more polling to demonstrate our other wants to Andy and the other manufacturers. They appear to have listened to us so far.

However, while I appreciate a good poll, polls do not a market study make. They are only an indicator of the people who actually responded to the poll. To respond to the poll you first have to be aware of the poll’ existence and this forum seems to have a limited population of the total toy soldier collector population.

The responses to any poll or even a market study must be conditioned with the fact that a response is not an indication of an action. Just because someone says they would buy a lorry does not mean that they actually buy a lorry.

But, having said that, this is probably the best way to at least get a “feeling” for a possible sale’s number and thank you Brad for doing this. Now, about a Napoleonic’s poll. Lets do a poll to find out what we would poll about.:p Michael

Michael - I think you are being a bit hasty in suggesting all these polls. Perhaps we should do a poll to find out if we should do a poll ...

Would love a bedford please Andy.My troops need a lift after all the foot slogging.

As above - I would buy several versions - Andy, please can I buy the next prototype? :)

Please consider this post sufficient consideration for an advance booking of the prototype and one each minimum (for now) of the production models in several theatres, subject only to force majeur or poor quality items (highly unlikely!). ;) I reserve my rights under the Sale of Goods Act and other appropriate law, any disputes to be settled in the British Courts.

Is that clear enough Brad? Andy, all I need now is your agreement:D How's that for a poll

My vote is a definite yes but what do I know, I bought three KC DD39, GMC Trucks, LOL.

As much as we'd like see the Bedford trucks, is there a sufficient enough market among collectors for Andy or anyone to recover their investment and then make their required return on their investment?

Does anyone know how well the KC WWII British sets are selling compared to the KC Germans and US?

Anyway, for purely selfish reasons I like to see the Bedford.

Carlos

Another yes for the bedford. One of my all time favorite military trucks!

Looks like there is going to be a glut of German sets on the market with all the new companies, I think theres a place for Allied equipment

Andy has my blessing, as long as he delivers Brits to go with the lorry!:p

:) Hello again Gentlemen! What Happened to My AK POll, that Brad had made for me LastYear 2005? It seems to me , that Times has Changed a Lot, for most Doubting Thomas! Well you know Brad, I voted in favor for your Poll, for a Bedford Lorry QL Troop Transport Truck! NOW, I want to Redue a Poll, for the Following Requests, for the N. Africa sets if I may:------A DAK-Opel Maultier Cargo Truck-on Halftracks, with Removeable Canopy:----- KETTENKRAD-TOWING SMALL SUPPLY TRAILER-------2-MAN MOTORCYCLE TEAM w/ SIDECAR--------8/12 MAN FIGHTING INFANTRY----KUBELWAGON-----HANOMAG----HORCH-COMMAND CAR ! THANKYOU!

I got to thinking about this poll and I have changed my mind. I voted no because my focus is now on Napoleonics. That was selfish. I should have voted yes to support the folks who do want one and because maybe in the future I would also. So Brad, discount the no's by one and add one to the yes'. Michael
