And where was the card sir! There you are too low in the ranks for our UK Frogger Field Marshall to even acknowledge. And you can take 32 years off of your estimate thank you sir!

But here's a true story for you Rob- as a birthday treat I shaved off my moustache proudly showed my good lady Trudi who then said
"Nice! it's actually taken 3 days off your age"
I have since let it grow back. The cheek of her!

Reb

Congrads Scott!:) I'm sure Rob will be glad to hand down your first official order as First Lieutenant is to go and buy lots of K&C!:D;)

May have to come by some ammo to take the blighters down!:eek:

And by ammo I mean DOSH!:DAnd By Blighters I mean King and Country sets!:D;)

BTW, Scott, how's the loft conversion coming?Vick

It's not taken off yet mate, hopefully in a few weeks, going to see my cousin, she's pregnant, so next week we're going to see how she and the rest of my family in Manchester are doing:)

Then the following week I am hopefully going to take a trip down to King and Country UK, but I've got a feeling that I won't get one hundred yards near to the showroom, before my mum's car is suddenly ripped apart by the German Machine gun that Mike has in his showroom:eek::eek::p;):D

Lmao!:DI just meant for all the complainign I've been doing about their prices, think they're all great people really but:)

Mike always goes out of his way to find me Arnhem44 sets, and things that he knows that I would like in his 'Stash':p

And he always, always gives me them at unbelievably generous prices, like for instance, there was an old Arnmhem 44 jeep that was broken, the front axel with the two wheels had broken off, but it is easy to repair, anways it had the ambulance jeep from the Arnhem range figures in the box with it, but the jeep was like a plain Arnhem 44 jeep from the Recce Jeep set without the windshield, and before when Mike had the Ambulance Jeep set (the actual proper one) before he put it in his amazingly detailed Pegasus Bridge diorama at the King and Country UK showroom, he priced the original to me at £500.00, because of the rarity, and how old it was, well I thought this was fare, and knew I had no hope of getting it:(

But...After finding this broken jeep last time I was down at Durham with the guys, Mike looked straight at the jeep, said, that obviously he's need to give me some money off for the damaged wheels, and the fact it was the wrong jeep, but then described how it was still a very old piece, and extremely rare, and said 'How does £40.00 sound'?:D

I think my heart actually did skip a beat that day!

Mike's a true good guy!

And Tony, well....before Tony styarted doing his dioramas which could be customed ordered, like Winter dios for collectors to place 3 Jg Miniatures bases in, I e-mailed him to ask him if he ever made dios, he responded very quikly saying that he would like to start doing them for collectors, and that was in like November!:D

Anyways I ordered one, and I went to the show the folliwing december, and my base was there, still in it's finishing up stages, some snow needed to be added, and some craters carved out, but it looked fantastic!

Anyways, I didn't know this, because Tony told me that iot would probably be after New Year before I could ge my dio, which I was ok about, although I had bought some of the winter figures for it anyways!

I didn't know this but Tony had arranged for private contracters to take my diorama and travel down to Scotland with it, and hand it to me in person!

It came on Christmas Eve, and I think that that was the best Christmas gift ever!:DNot just because It was a work of art! But becasue the timing couldn't have been more perfect!:D

Thank you Mike and Tony!

See you soon hopefully guys!:)

Sounds good!:D

Might be going to Florida in December!:D

I'm not tryin to be ignorant, but is Florida anywhere near Michigan?:)

Kind of like the army in the 18th century. You need to find someone retiring and buy a higher commission, Reb ;)

Prost!

Woohoo!:D

Get ready to move out boys;):D

Now you have to stand three watches. The first for the men of the company, who will claim bread and Schnapps, for which they give a cheer for the Herr Baron. On the second watch, the corporals come and claim beer and a pipe. On the third comes the regimental sergeant-major, who is to receive a piece of curled tobacco on a plate, and a glass of wine.

H*ll no!:D;) But they are both peninsulas, just think the opposite of Florida, surrounded by fresh water, deer everywhere, and SNOW, lots and lots of snow!:);) But Scott, why not when in the country travel the WHOLE "Fruited Plain"!;)
