To all the Brits

If you have not, then the Royal British legion is still seeking volunteers to sell poppies for Remembrance Sunday. You only do it in 2 hour slots.

I did my first stint this week in my local market town and got 100+ quid in less than 2 hours - people were great buying poppies. People say that the public does not care about our ex-soldiers but based on my collecting experience they really do (both young and old alike).

I will be out again on Saturday doing my bit but I know we could do with more people.

Cheers

Gazza

PS Sorry I do not know if other Nationalities have a similar event.

Totaly agree, Rob, it is a pity that the politicians and civilian bean counters at the MOD see fit to deprive them of the equipment they need to do the job. God keep the boys and girls safe.

Its an absolute disgrace isn't it,however its a testament to these guys that they are still getting the job done.
