Sdkfz 222 Armoured Car various versions
Jagdpanzer IV/70

What media are used? Are these custom order or will they be manufactured in quantity. What would be the price for a Panzer III Ausf H? Photos would be nice?

The aufs immediately available are G, J, L and F. The hulls and turrets are printed in medium similar to resin, we then add details in cast metal, and a metal commander figure and stowage.

Ends up like the India Pattern Carrier shown in this thread.

The Panzer III will be no more than £250 inc the commander figure.

Each vehicle is fitted with a nickel plated plaque with the customers name, model details, date of manufacture etc, so it really is a one off!

Thanks for your interest.

On Hobbybunker I requested a quote for a Sd Kfz 250/1 and Panzer III G with L/42 5CM. I also included pictures and a few other details.

Sounds like 3D printing has arrived in the world of Toy Soldiers! I look forward to seeing some photos of a finished piece.

We have scoped out the various requested vehicles and here are some pics and prices.

Please note this is a new offering by us, using 3D printing to produce one off vehicles, made to order. The pictures are digital previews of base print outs.

We have produced 2 vehicles this way, ie the India Pattern Carrier and the Ho-Ki Japanese carrier, both in 1:30 scale.

The material is very like resin.

We add metal grab rails, machine guns/mounts, antenna, etc.

We add metal and resin stowage.

We add a metal crew figure, and where relevant, add on figure sets (such as the Rajput Rifles crew for the IPC)

Finally we add a nickel plate with your details and that of the vehicle and date of manufacture.

We are posting pics of the first two vehicles so you can get an idea of the finished product.

The advantages are:

You can choose the colour scheme and markings you want.

You can choose the level of weathering.

You can specify the type and level of stowage ( we can provide WIP shots of your vehicle).

The vehicles are accurate 1:30 scale, we have measured drawings against which we have checked dimensionally.

So you end up with a unique vehicle that may not be available through other commercial channels.

The disadvantages are:

It is not cheap.

Your vehicle is ordered sight unseen. ( we do offer a full refund if you are not completely satisfied)

It does take time to produce the vehicle from point of order, about 5 weeks.

Here are the pics of the first two:

The Japanese Carrier cost £255

Great to see you focusing on British vehicles. In the same vein as above, let me suggest the A-13, Mk II (Cruiser tank Mk IV):

The army's first true "cruiser tank," the armor and gun were the rough equivalent of that found on a Pz.IIIg. Properly maintained, it could run rings around the German vehicle. And, perhaps most importantly, I just think that it's cool looking! I should also mention that a pattern for the type exists in the form a 1/35 kit from Bronco Models.
