Guns and gunners! Who could ask for a better topic.
Brendan
YES, great to see them, different nations and guns, exchanging fire over the battlefields.
BUT ..... I am quite disanointed by the poses that are being produced by most makers.
Most of these depict a gun being loaded, and to give credit, some do have the breech open, so that's appropriate.
Only the Anti-Tank Gun has a layer operating the gun. He is the gunner who sets the range and elevation on the sights, or aims the gun over open sights, and fires the gun.
Also many of the guns do not have an NCO Gun Commander directing the gunners, there may be an officer on the gun platform, but doesn't run the gun, that's the NCO.
Also most makers do not provide a full gun crew, even as an add set.
Recently both John Jenkins and K&C have doing this, so lets hope others will do!
