The Medieval Series

Moving onto a later historical era we are looking at the 100 years war and are delighted to show you 2 new potential figures, King Jean of France and The Black Prince battling it out at Poitiers. We are considering these figures as a further expansion of the medieval range, if you like them then let us know at your earliest convenience. Any other request's for this series please send them in. We do have another 10 figures for the Medieval series planned from an earlier period, but these 100 year war figures are so colourful we had to show them to you! Price would be around $55- $59 per figure.

The Black Prince raises his shield as King Jean takes a swing with his battle axe.

The Enemies of Rome

More market research: Two new potential Celtic Cavalry also in the works, let us know your thoughts for this series. Cost would be around the $99 mark should we proceed. Dealers once again potential numbers would be most useful. If you love these let us know, if you would rather see something else then once again we are all ears!

Spartan & Greek Hoplite Phalanx

Now a little market research, we are looking at making a 16 piece Spartan and Greek Hoplite but only if the demand is there. The cost would be around $784 or $49 per figure, let us know if you are interested be it a dealer of a direct customer, if we do not hear back then we will assume its a no! There are individual pictures of each warrior on our website for those of you looking for more details. Dealers if you could let us know 'potential' numbers it would be very helpful.

Dear all
A short postscript from the London show, which was a great event to showcase some forthcoming projects from Thomas Gunn. On display at London and scheduled for release this month were our new Zulu War infantry, Pavlowski Grenadiers, South African RAF pilot 'Pat' Pattles amongst others. All of these will feature in our April newsletter due out middle of the month.
Without further ado here are some photos of other potential and future projects which were also on display at the show.

Excellent accurate figure detail. Often the details or colors are wrong. One manufacturer had the Lions in the wrong direction and the blues too light. The Hundred Years War is always a winner IMO.

Many possibilities for the Hundred Years’ War. Men st arms, longbowmen, crossbowmen, Henry V and many other personalities. Really hoping for these figures and more!

Looks great. Does the windshield move up and down.

I can't wait to see the figures that come with it.

Thanks,

Carlos

Not sure about the windscreen but the wheels rotate if that helps Carlos?! There will be 3 figures that can be used with this jeep in a non traditional format, more may follow later.

Saw this at the show and it looked the 'business', what do you mean by 2 variants? Two colour schemes, two theatres, two season [summer and winter] ?

Like the new WW2 pilot as well, great touch putting him with a typewriter.

The figures look great but it would be good if they didn't have bases. I think they wouldn't fall over if they didn't have any and it would make them more realistic and better for dioramas. Three of the figures could also be used as tank riders if they didn't have bases.

The Roman series desperately needs enemy archers.

The new Germans look good and I like how you have them on bases. I don't like it when kneeling/sitting figures don't have bases.

Got to disagree with you Joe think they would look better with out bases

I like either way, but it depends on if they remain upright without the bases or not? I have some early K & C not on bases, which can tipple over sometimes.

Could this be a variant, some on bases and some not?

It would be really cool if they made the figures with removable bases like CS did a few times. Collectors could either glue the figures to the bases or leave the bases in the box.
I've never liked the no base look myself and have never bought a baseless figure. If I ever needed a baseless figure in the past for certain diorama purposes I would just remove the base.
