Post your repaint projects (KC, FOV, etc.) here (1 Viewer)

Well guys, I did the unthinkable, I think. Here is a repaint on the Figarti Pz. IV winter version that is no loner winter. I compared it with the HB Tiger for scale purposes. The dio is something I just whipped up. Frankly it just a prop to display the IV.

Ah Carlos, you do realize that Figarti is going to release a Pz IV in camo don't ya  :( Pays to wait a while don't it  Unless you have TWO winter Pz IV's :)

Anyway, very nice painting. I do like the direction Figarti is going with these great models. Between Figarti, King & Country and Collector's Showcase the bar is going up for quality.:)

Yup call me crazy Michael. I couldn't wait and hopefully they paint a totally different camo pattern. Believe it or not, I did have an extra winter Figarti Pz IV and you're right, the bar continues to rise in quality.

Imagine a year ago there really weren't any IV (Long barrel) tanks to choose from and now? Yes, we collectors are lucky.

Once again Brad,

I'm not the artist. This time it was Mark Vuncannon at Build-A-Rama that was kind enough to perform this masterpiece.

You guys really do have some skills in painting I really do mean it. This is one heck of a good forum with painters on it. You guys are very good at painting. Kudos for you guys.

Wow that turned out awesome! I'm jealous ;) Mark did an great job.

Wow,

Look at the repaint Mark at Build-A-Rama did for me!!!!!

Terrific stuff and I can't wait until he sends it to me. It's a repaint of a CS STUG III, Ausf G for Italy 1944 (maybe Sicily even 1943).

Cool man,

Carlos

Here are the last of the pictures Mark sent me. Oh yeah, he did a great job with fabricating a new MG Shield too!

I just love the way this turned out. I am going to do some of the other NMA vehicles I have. Maybe even try a conversion. Maybe just change the unit designation. But As I have stated elsewhere the items are packed away for now:( My biddgest problem seems to be lighting. I will see what can be done. There are some details that are not coming out in the shots. Things like the piping on the uniforms, rust on the exhaust, even the grey color of the crewmans shirt.
