Fully recognize, particularly during the current pandemic, the necessity for some form of psychological escape mechanism/therapy. Thus the hobby of toy soldiers/military miniatures. However, as an aging retired semi-skilled professional naval intelligence officer, I will not allow myself to lapse from reality into the total ignorance and complacency of the ostrich syndrome.

Analogous (but certainly without nearly the depth of knowledge and intellect) to the assessments of ADM Harry E. Yarnell, USN, and Sir Winston S. Churchill, on the eve of World War II, please afford me a parallel prescience to predict near-term future candidates for military miniatures.
