Somewhere in Northern France a column of German armour is heading to the front lines to engage the advancing Allies. Unfortunately for them they have just been spotted by patrolling Allied aircraft!

All that good looking German equipment is about to take a beating from the air. Some Flak guns are needed urgently. No doubt about it, I can see why you invested with Jakob's diorama boards, when you can produce scenes like this. Really like the camo on your Tiger. :salute::, Robin.

One of those special dioramas that appear on the forum every now and again. Well done. Regards Greg.

You have a very nice set-up Tom, Well Done !!!

I really like that you have all of the vehicles in similar cam, and various sets all mixed in together.

Love the diorama base and buildings, I would sure love to set up my Napoleonics on that one :) :)

Thanks Robin and you know what, I have a few TG Flakvierlings and I could have placed at least one of them in the dio. Oh well, maybe next time i'll throw one in the shoot. Yes, Jakob's buildings as we both know are beaut's and they certainly make this diorama come alive.

Thanks Mike. I'm happy how the bridge turned out. It's actually a Royal Model 1/35 scale bridge that I purchased and then modified for this dio. It was originally designed as a narrow foot bridge but I made it wider by building an extension to the culvert so I can use it as a road bridge. I then glued it all together and painted and weathered it.

Thanks Moe, your pretty close, the length or width is 5.16 feet by 3 feet wide or deep. I have posted this pic before but here's the complete dio minus any vehicles, figures and backdrop.

Thanks John and as I have said before, you are more than welcome to pop in with your Naps and let them loose on my diorama base! ^&grin Yeah, I placed vehicles together with similar camo and it's great that different manufacturers work well together, not just on the camo, but in size and quality as well.

Thanks to the people that provided a like as well.

Your diorama is tempting me to start collecting yet another line of TS !
Great display with so many tiny details I'm picking out the more I look.
Very well done !

Tom, really great looking scene! Love the variety of armor and figures. The diorama base and buildings is quite a nice setting and can be used for many types of scenes including NAPS like you mention. Would be fun to try different things on that display. Well done.

Fantastic armor and soft skin collection well placed and photographed. Another great dio. Chris

Thanks Duke and it would be great if I could do different eras on this dio but unfortunately I only collect WW2 and don't have the funds for anything else. It's a shame that you, John or anyone else on here couldn't pop around and we do a photo shoot with different items etc.

Thanks Chris, glad you like it mate.

Thanks to the people that have provided additional likes.

Thanks Luiz. The Steyr Command car is made by Britains and it's one of there old releases. It comes with 3 dead German soldiers and it has bullet holes in the other side but I used a bit of artistic licence and made it look operational by photo shooting the undamaged side.

Hi Tom,

Great idea....thought so, just could not figure out the artistic licensing and the suttle photo angle...pitty they did not produce an operational version....
Cheers
