I hope you’all ( it’s a southern thing!) are enjoying all the new goodies just shipped.

My apologies for the lateness but alas the Federal Government needs our assistance in meeting its payroll requirements. Inspections take longer, and are more expensive.

To business: we have tried our very best to keep pricing in check but find that our replacement cost for certain items is just too great to ignore. So be advised that some price adjustments will occur on April 30th. Foot figures will all be $35.90 with some exceptions. All mounted figures will be revised to $79.90. So for the remainder of this month prices will stay current allowing for folks to order if they wish. After April 30th the new prices will take effect.

You’ll note it’s not on all items and quite mild really. In essence it’s just a small price increase on items that have done very well and are selling out quickly. We will as usual try our best to keep prices moderate but this is becoming increasingly difficult.

Folks, there is no doubt that we are in the part of the cycle that sees a huge drawdown in new inventory creation across our entire economy. I fully expect to see inflation in all corners of the economy going forward as product simply won’t be available as it was and hence will become “more valuable”. The bottom line is manufacturers just “ ain’t” ordering a lot of new items from the factories ( hence the terrific slowdown in China you’ve all been hearing about ). Quantities are low and believe or not items such as ours won’t be as readily available as they might have been in the last 6-12 months. Hence the price adjustments.

On the upside the draw down in inventories should lay the seeds for a moderate recovery going forward!

Keep those ears to the ground as our new release announcements are right around the corner.

Tally Hooo!

Brian

Considering that you have over the years spared us the savage and monthly price hikes we see so often elsewhere in the hobby I would say that the price rises you mention (which nobody really likes) are not too bad.

However, when you make the Jagdtiger (In Otto's last Tiger format) and a sturmpanzer Brumbar be gentle with us

Mitch

PS. I am getting a real language lesson today from Pigeon French to good old southern talk!!LOL

I would love to see a CS Jagdtiger. And an elefant to go with it in 1/30 as well. But I would have to put some extra long screws on my shelves so these heavy beasts don't come crashing down one day. Maybe forest camo or a white wash would be great for late war releases. Keep us posted.

I think, your guilty conscience is showing. If I was referring to you I would have mentioned you by name.
