Price of Trophy Sudan and Boxer (1 Viewer)

Does anyone else think its gone nuts????? WOW. Imagine what my Dhow would bring on ebay or anyone else's for that matter, NUTS. Part of me wants to put it up for $2500 and see if anyone is nuts enough to buy it!!!!!!!

Makes it hard to fill in. I am thinking of buying a number of Little Legion to fill the gaps, a 30 pound camel is a lot easier to stomach.

Used to be you couldn't give away certain boxer sets, now you have single figures selling on ebay for $75 and up!

Tom: That is true of some of the Trophy lines. However, there doesn't seem to be much demand for Trophy ACW , ARW or for that matter NAPS. The LL dhow might be an option.

definitely true, BUT, it seems every ACW piece I need goes high, someone must know I need it!!!

I will probably get the LL Dhow too, it is different and looks cool, not a bad price either.

I really screwed up on the Boxers, could have bought them by the truckload.

I've noticed that some of the camels are going for $200 plus. I recall when Clive purchased a stack of camels here in the US. He got a bargain price compared to current market price.

Speaking of ACW, I don't see much of that on ebay lately.

Well, did you see some of the prices paid for those K & C glossy Napoleonics this past weekend? There's lunacy all around and I'm afraid I was one of the inmates

The Boxers I never got round to buying. Too late now.
The Sudan stuff I was lucky to get in at the tail end. I have most of what I need. Even a few camels.
Agree about the LL Dhow. It looks really cool.
I am trying to mop up Napoleonics and ACW so am happy that things are not crazy there.
I am not sure if this market will level out.
After four years whatever was left with dealers has almost been absorbed.
I think ACW stuff and Napoleonics were made in large volumes.

I have to disagree with tom, every time i try to buy naps i am always outbid and i have taken six man sets to $200. It sounds like i need to put my boxer sets up for bid as i will never be able to collect them all. What would you say a set of austrians charging would go for $400 ?

Not sure and to clarify, the Naps I want always go high!

It is nutty to be sure. Hopefully they will level out a little, I want some of the Boxers, but I have my limits!
