I am not jealous of those who can buy at any price..I am sure king and country will survive as their quality company is world wide and its a fact of life that there are enough customers that price really is of no concern to them. There are even people who want 20 dollar a gallon gas so they can joyride just because others cant. I have enough unopened cartons of various manufacturers to keep me for quite a while. I know my proposition is going to sound sarcastic..but if the price of a single figure reaches a hundred dollars each...if airfare and availability can be worked out, I will dress in my uncles world war II tanker uniform and stand in your window for one week...and that guy with the bmw can even drive by and point at me and claim I am one of his collection (but, for one week only) (and let me know about my pension and medical benefits.)

I am impressed that you have your uncle's WW2 uniform. I am even more impressed that you can fit into it. The only thing of my father's WW2 uniform that I can fit into is his wristwatch.{sm2}:wink2::rolleyes2: -- Al

:rolleyes2: As much of a WW2 Die-Hard Toy Collector; My personal Opinion of the Latest Price Increase's , from K&C and other Toy Companies, is getting Out-of-Hand! In these Hard Times Today, for Millions of people in the USA and Abroad, Toy Collectors, like myself, is Now Facing wether, to start Cutting down on my Personal Toy Collection,and from Purchasing ,as much, as I did in the past! I would think, that K&C and CS and other Toy Companies , would have to give some kind of Incentive, such as Toy Purchasing Discounts, from the Dealers; in order to keep the Collectors Purchasing in the Near Future! Also, I feel that the Chinese Toy Manufacturing Companies, would also, consider, that their Working People, would get an Incentive, on the Amounts of Production Pieces; so the Cost to the US and Abroad ; would be Nominal! CIAO!
