Prices - what should i do? (1 Viewer)

Do you have any British or French FL Napoleonics you would like to sell?

Sorry dude, wish i did.. Looks like i will stick with FL... I don't have much of a choice. Im not gonna learn how to paint, sculpt, or glue things together. Tried that, and it turned into a disaster!!

not another pricing thread! we go through all this on about a monthly basis. so ill put in the same few cents.

everything is going up in price. if you dont want to pay for it, then you dont have to collect it. there are plenty of other hobbies out there. and if you want to keep collecting soldiers, then just go with a slightly lesser brand. its not like someone is holding a gun to your head saying YOU MUST BUY THIS. thats why its just a hobby, not your lifes work.

so in my opinion, of what should yo do, if you think prices are too much, then dont do it. theres a lot of stuff i would love to do, but its too expensive, so i dont.

ill leave you with a quote from one of my favorite essays:
"Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders."

Excellent !

The truth is simple, matt is in this to make money and he will always make money or he won't turn out a product, he should be repaid for his "sweat equity", he's got a steady following and he's going to make his money period, if you want to play with the "Upper crust" of the museum class, money talks BS walks!:eek:
