Prince August, the Irish company that makes moulds was featured on Irish TV this week, and as well as seeing the shop/factory you can see that making of the moulds and the interaction with children who can see the figures poured, and then do their own painting.
Maybe this is a way of brining they younger age into our hobby, as its much cheaper than buying ready made figures and brings back some 'hands on' skill with a paintbrush ?
Also on the clip you can see a huge diorama of the Battle of Waterloo with 15,000 figures all painted by a German collector that's now on display in the factory.
The info on YouTube states:
During August 2015 Nationwide (Irish program) came to interview Lars Edman (MD), Eileen Kelleher (Artist) and André Rudolph (Diorama Builder) in regard to the new Battle of Waterloo exhibit at the Prince August Toy Soldier Factory Visitor Center. Finally on 14th October 2015 it aired on RTE One.

Well worth a look and a visit when you are in Ireland.
