Hi all, after a much needed cat nap today thought I'd snap a few photos of the new SPR set I picked up, looking forward to the next 4 set.

Thanks Rob, work in progress on the bases, but another good thing about these figures are that the bases are minimal in size.

I opted to go with the new Pacific Marines with this month's release but must say that I really like the Ryan collection. They can be added to any European diorama which is great for versatility. Interesting about the bases. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of these guys.

great set of figures . I'm all for the black and white picture , it's just like the real thing . Covering the bases would make it even more authentic

Thanks fellas for the nice comments, as far as the detail on this set of Rangers it really is a great deal for the quality of the figures, no black outlines, the painting is very well done including the weapons, helmets etc. everything as far as scale looks to be spot on, I certainly look forward to purchasing the next 4 Rangers along with Capt. Dye as I think he'll work in fine with the SPR range.

I have ordered the first SPR set today, and put in the order for the next set......can't have half a squad..... would not be right and is probably illegal ^&grin

Lot of new stuff that really hits the spot for me. The USMC figures are just so good......if only I had a bigger bank balance
