I just secured new K&C sets FoB130 (Pvt. Frazer) & FoB133 (Pvt. Godfrey) representing the additional characters from the 1960s to 1970s BBC TV series comedy "Dad's Army". These two figures have been added to my display of the prior 5 figures issued by K&C about 2 years ago or so representing people from the Home Guard from the TV series just noted above. Photo #4 shows a close up of Pvt. Frazer on the left and Pvt Godfrey on the right. I wonder what other "Dad's Army" TV charactors may be added in the future? Please see 4 photos below. Two of several VHS tape boxes were used as backdrop for this display.

Those are beautiful sets you have and a great backdrop for your display. The resemblances to the TV characters are uncanny. What other characters would you like to see added ?

Thank you for sharing.

Hello:

Obviously I meant to have a larger version of photo#4 of the two new figures when I posted some hours back. Alas, something went amiss. I am now posting a photo with the closeup size I meant to have of the two new figures of Privates Frazer & Godfrey. As "OldDragon" noted on previous reply back all of K&C's "Dad's Army" (WW2) figures look very much like the actors who played the assorted members of the Home Guard Platoon on TV in the UK as can be seen on the real photos of the TV actors on the VHS tape covers. See the closeup photo below please.

As for what other Home Guard figures I would like to see and obtain. These 7 figures are the main charactors of the Platoon commanded by "Captain Mainwaring". Plus, I have no more room for more on the present display space I have allocated.

Love em, but still holding out for Hodges, Vicar & Verger. :salute::, Robin.

They look great but I can't find 'Dad's Army' on the K&C website?

"octavedoctor":

The two new K&C figures or sets issued in honor of "Dad's Army" UK BBC TV series about the Home Guard in WW2 can be found under K&C's "FoB" series or "Fields of Battle" under the general subject title of WW2 (World war two). Thanks for your comments.
