Strongly suggest if you have time to read about Bill Nunn - Steelers Scout who was just elected (finally) posthumous to the Hall of Fame. What a story. For those who may not know this, a lot of the Steel Curtain was not blue chip recruits from highly known schools. They came from historic black colleges and Bill Nunn was very instrumental in getting them to the Pros with the Steelers leading the way. John Stallworth's story is about as incredible as it gets and all thanks to Bill Nunn. Again, if you get the time, google him and read his story, or go to steelers.com

Also, nice to see Alan Faneca make it too. Very often O line guards are a tough sell, its a thankless position, but this guy was one of the best ever. Steelers now have 29 members in the Hall of Fame, just incredible.

Great post.

This year’s class is rightfully headlined by Manning but every inductee is unquestionably qualified.

Have always thought highly of Manning and his entire family. He had a lot to live up to, both of them(Eli too) did and they did tremendously. His ESPN show is truly funny and an interesting watch.

Tom:

You are so right about Manning.

I watched his show based on your recommendation and it is nothing short of excellent.
