Last week I was unable to read the pdf file on Bill Grant and his collection in the latest issue of the Rivet. I have Acrobat reader which I use on a daily basis to read pdfs. Each time I have tried to read the Rivet pdf, it causes my Preview application (where Acrobat displays pdfs) to quit. I am running a 2004 G5 IMAC. I wonder if anyone else who gets the Rivet has encountered this problem, especially if they are using a MAC? I have reported the problem to Shannon but I believe so far I am the only one to have done so.

Thank you,

Randy

I had problems on my Mac reading about Bill Grant. Finally the next day it came up on acrobat. Did not seem to work like it should. John

We are trying a second PDF conversion software program to see if it will make your Macs happy. We have sent a sample to PolarBear to see if it works better.

Thank you Shannon. My MAC loves the new version.
I appreciate your fixing this for us MAC users.:)

Shannon,
I used to receive the Rivet, but it has been awhile since I got one, can you put me back on the list?
Thanks!
Tom

OK . . . I give up! What's the Rivet?

It is very nicely done and full of useful and informative texts and pictures. All TF members would enjoy it.

Al,

I will mention this to Shannon to get you signed up.

Tom, Don't know how you got off the list but you definitely weren't on it when I checked. You are officially back on. Al, you are welcome to sign up for a subscription--just follow Polarbear's directions and sign up on the Treefrog homepage or send me the email address you wish the newsletter to go to and I can sign you up.
Regards,
