:( I just received ALL of the TGM Desert Paras Sets! The Bad News, is that the Wormanship on the Weapons(MP40 Schmeisser)MP the barrel Tip is very Fragile and Bends easilyand Gun is Small; also, the PAK 38 Pieces has Fallen Off Broken! The Best Figure is the Man, Running with the Panzerschreck! The Sets are BEAUTIFUL, But a Slight Smaller in Size, than I expected, compared with other Toy Companies; CS,HB,and K&C Figure's! I have to say outright, with All Honesty, that the Sculpturing, has to be Beefed up on the Body Frame, and Weapons! This Speculation comes with Many Years of Collecting Toy Soldiers! :( Dissapointed! CIAO!

If you drop me an email or PM me with an address I can send you a new Pak as a replacement - how does that sound?

As for the beefiness John - I will have our chef put more meat in my soldiers rations!

Happy Christmas by the way!

Kind Regards

Thomas Gunn

Perhaps one of the most courteous, simply nice and professional responses I have read here in quite some time! Way to go!

Hi Tom. Just keep sending me the full size sets with the big guns and I will continue to collect them.:D

Please don't do that, especially if you are considering a Napoleonic line. There are more than enough of the "beefier" style bodies and appendages available to satisfy that craving. The more realistic you can be, I think the more it will be appreciated.;)

Although I don't collect your product, from the photos I have seen everything looks spot on !!

Another classic from the desk of John Gambale!
Being a toy soldier collector myself for many years, my speculation is I like the Wormanship of my T. Gunn sets.

You just can't help yourself can you?

I just got four sets this morning from George Guerriero without a problem.

They look great.

Gotta love doing business with a man like this...kudos to you Thomas!

I am very fussy which products I mix in my collection.I must say TG's figures go superbly well with my main producers figures, they fit in size, look and uniforms.Excellent release so far from TG.

Rob

I have all the sets released so far, and think they are excellent the way they are (please don't change!). The scale and paint go well with K&C figures and vehicles, probably the best of all the companies I collect. The poses are interesting and unique, and the value for the money is excellent. Other than the odd bent item, which happens across the board it seems, I've not had issues.

Keep up the good work!

Well I must say your observation is amusing, which I assume was your intent and I certainly enjoy a chuckle as much as the next fellow.:D Certainly you wouldn't begrudge a bloke an observation about his preference in response to a contrary one.;)

I don't go about making snide remarks about First Legion figures (which I like very much) in the same way you do about K & C figures.

Brad, I don't recall making any snide remarks here about anyone's figures. Quite the contrary, I merely suggested that the TGM figures should not be made more beefy as per the original comment since there are more than enough examples of those excesses. I didn't even mention any manufacturer, something you seemingly couldn't resist. For your information, I just added to my K&C Cuirassiers, which as I have noted before, I think is one of their best series. Trust me, if I intended to criticize them, I wouldn't be bashful as you well know from what I have said in the past. I think you were wise to change your role here; it seems to have made you jaded.;)

Don't know about jaded but glad I don't have to moderate any more; gives me more time to practice my guitar. My new one is my avatar :)

Thankyou Very Much, Tom! As I, said on my Statement on the Treefrog Forum, your Sets are BEAUTIFUL and Realistic Pose's! I like your Company and know, that you will do very well in the Near Future, with your Toy Soldier Business! I wish you ALL the Best and with all Sincere Gratitude, with your Sucess! Thankyou Very much, John Gambale-8613-Magnum Ct.-New Port Richey Florida, 34655-1135, USA! I'm Looking forward for MORE Paras(DAK) possible Herman Goering's, or RAMCKE's Brigade! ( Iam 30-Years Collecting WW2, Veteran! CIAO!

This thread is a good soap opera - many plot twists and interpersonal carnage. I love it. :D

Way off topic but have a new teacher and things are looking up! Working on a blues, some scales and a song.
