I realised that I have a lot of horse parts and rejects. And then there were these leftover pith helmeted heads from Omdurman. So I decided to start another project with these. Crazy right? So here's the start already.

Hi John, this one is right up your alley.. hahaha.

I’ve reposed and added back legs to the horses. Added a mtd fig. Red leg was ex Historex red lancer reject.

Ive been fooling around with more ugly conversions of my horses just to get my required poses. So far, Ive made about 6 horses and they do differ in sizes.

Here are six horses so far. They appear to be sized from downwards from left to right.

A bit more converting and redoing of poses. Ive added two more figs. Then I placed the figs on temp bases and tested the posing.
First pix shows the relative sizes. Second pix shows the intended visual perspective.

I think you might be right and that Victor is going to recreate a famous painting of an action in the 2nd Boer War of an Artillery Team
