This is the rider on the rearing horse. I had modelled him reaching out to hold the other horse rein. However, I think the torso is too long. So Ive remodelled it.
I guess I am making slow progress. Juggling 3-4 dioramas is not easy but it does retain my focus.
I took some time to read about neck collars from Major Tylden's book and another horse carriage book. I think I understand the basics of draught horse harnessing sufficient enough to continue modelling this scene. Almost done with resizing and shaping the neck collars. I'll be adding the horse manes and other details before final details with the actual harness., bits and reins.

Decided that I need a bigger box for this scene. So I enlarged the base with more chicken wire and then coated it with wall putty.
