I just got K&C set AE 058 of their new standing fan bearer. I was inspired to get it after viewing the recent K&C Forum Thread by "zblang" relative to new K&C Ancient Egyptian (AE) sets. So now Queen Cleopatra has a fan bearer cooling her off as she sits on her podium in the patio area of her palace. Please see four photos below showing Queen Cleopatra and her new fan bearer as well as more overview shots. I also have five other displays / dioramas the same size using K&C's AE (Ancient Egyptian) sets which have been previously posted at the Forum in recent years and appeared in Toy Soldier & Model Figure magazine about two years ago.

Nice layout Gary, all backed up with the river scene. Always liked this series, the one that started me in 2008 collecting. Most people are interested in Ancient Egypt, so many would be getting pleasure from your display. :salute::, Robin.

Gary, looks great! She definitely needed to be fanned off! As do the men around her!

Very nice Gary - great assortment of figures and I like how you displayed in this diorama. I esp. like the "most bosomy" Cleo.

Gary...that's beautiful...very nice...is that a Del Prado podium?

Mike:

I should have noted in my write up when I posted this Thread that the "Podium" was made by JG Miniatures or John Gittins of England as was the "Fieldstone" mat. The backdrop of the "River Nile" was obtained some time back via Toy Soldier & Model Figure magazine. The plastic columns were cake layer separation items. All of the figures, etc. were K&C sets. Thanks for your comments as well as all the others from other members of the Forum. I have enjoyed all the remarks about Cleopatra & the "Dancing Girls". I did not show the Girls facing to the front so as not to get this Thread banned, ha, ha.
