Just by chance I came across J.G. Miniatures's (John Gittins) new set# JGN14 at Treefrog Treasures Online shop entitled "Ancient Egyptian Podium" and I at once determined to buy it and add it to one of my six K&C Ancient Egyptian displays that represents a patio area of Queen Cleopatra's Palace. The flooring was made by J.G. Miniatures as well and was added last year. The background came via Toy Soldier & Model Figure magazine. All the figures were made by K&C. Please see#4 photos below.

Very nice too! ^&cool John makes some excellent scenic items imho and I use his products in all my displays.

Really like the setup and display ... I can feel the cool breezes off the Nile as the sun sets for the day.
Do you read the books by Elizabeth Peters?

She has a collections of 30 or so "mystery" books that center all over Egypt and goes into the history and archeology of tombs, temples and more. You might enjoy them. They are light reading but interesting (and funny).

Hello Larry:

Thanks for your kind comments about my about 21 by 9 inch revised Queen Cleopatra Palace Patio display. Alas, I am not familiar with the author Elizabeth Peters. Thanks for the information.
