Interesting figure.

I put her horse on a base.

Some WIP. Gilt paint was added and the base undercoated.

I removed most of the thick paint on the face by diluting with thinner and repainted it. Almost done except to add the reins and do up the groundwork.

I attached the queen to the horse. Then decided that those horse decorations on the rump were not correctly modelled.

These tassels were attached to the crupper by a D ring. Hence the attachment was redone.

Finally added the reins. What a pain.....

Finished painting this piece incl repainted horse.

Will add some more foliage to the base.

Looks like some really dry scrub there,

maybe they hasn't been any 'rain, on the plain, in Spain' ????

Hi John,

You are obviously having fun here? hahaha.

I actually spent the day adding foliage and flora to this piece, She's royalty so probably riding around and trampling up some poor peasant's floral garden.
