Hey guys,

A few pages back on the forum there is a post about the latest French line infantry. It was said that they are bigger, taller and chunkier than other Naps. I have fallen behind a year or two on collecting Naps and wondering if these are worth picking up.

If this is true it reminds me of how ticked off I was with the DD and WS figures that did not match up. I hated looking at those US para's that were closer to 1/28th scale (DD 36 and 37) and the Germans (WS48 and 49) that were closer to 1/35th in the same diorama. I don't think it is asking too much to have a company at least make its own figures work together what with so many guys on the forum asking if company X works with company Y.

Anyway, after that digression, just looking for opinions on these new figures. Is it a very obvious difference in size? Enough to discourage me from purchasing?

guys,

While I am at it. How about the new BBA armored jeep? Since the vehicles are now supposed to really be 1/30th, how does it size up with the last jeep DD75. This time I hope it is bigger since we all know that in the old days either the vehicles were too small or the figures too big. Hoping this has been upsized like the newer tanks. Any input is appreciated.

There's a noticeable difference in size but it's not glaring and if kept apart, probably wouldn't be too bad. The other issue is they're a bit more patched and muddy - which is all authentic obviously but again, for me it set them apart just a bit much from the other figures I have.
