Fellow TGM collector's:

What is TGM up to with the spring 1945 set variants? Does anyone know if there will be US, UK or Soviet sets made to oppose the Germans? The spring '45 sets have some interesting uniforms and camo. Would they work in a Bulge diorama or were all the German units in white? Just picked up both Krupp trucks, Normandy medic and Kubelwagen sets and both US airborne sets. I am enjoying the quality and value of TG and considering making all my future purchases TG. Anyone else out there really mad at the Industry Leader for changing scale in mid-stream? I have older vehicles that they swore were 1/30th and now they come out and say the newer ones are a true 1/30th. For instance my US M12 gun motor carraige and UK Firefly are supposed to be on the same chassis, aren't they? They are in the same diorama but are obviously different sizes. I don't care which company makes the exact 1/30th size items. I just want the company I collect to be consistent from set to set year after year and the figures and vehicles to look compatible together. Am I being too fussy or do others feel the same? Anyway, that's quite a few questions and a rant. Look forward to any answers/replies.

I am pretty sure that the Russians will be coming next year and some more US Para troops ( ej:to go with the MP truck) so I suppose TG will also provide some troops for the Russians to fight against.( Berlin, Hungary ????) As far as the camouflage is concerned;the 1944 and 1945 camo patterns did not vary. The Germans were out of raw material and used everything they could lay their hands on and no not all winter camo was white !!!!!!!!( A lot of the German troops kept their summer and autumn camo through the winter due to the lack of winter camo outfits).Look at all the famous pictures about the Bulge ( the village of Poteau) and you will see.

German camo was also reversable in many cases so, I suppose it was down to the troops what they decided was the way to go with terrain. The troops both spring camo and winter white can be used and mixed easily together for any campaigns that you mention and, to some in Austria and Hungary at the end of the war. They can also be used for many of the earlier russian campaigns and winters on the western front.

TG seems to have been around for ages but, its only a short time so, plenty more will come in the spring ranges and, opponents to fight russians seems to have been the one people voted for in the choices that were offered, he has just started AFV's and some US troops. I guess its the age old problem we have none of us are really patient about releases
