See the new BOB American truck, it says it comes with a detachable canvas roof, and that figures can also sit in the backhowever, my question is, can the figures sit in the back while the canvas roof is on the truck?

Just looked at the pics the back does not look open enough to allow you to see the figures in the way I think you want. You could always make a one or convert the one to get what you want
