Mark, I bought my first BAR product, the command post, which I have been admiring for quite awhile. I like the product, however, I can not get the roof to stay put. My command post came with 4-wooden dowels and the roof (roof is completely flat), which just lays on the posts. When I look on the TF website, the product shows something that appears to attach to the post that part of the roof, which I don't have. Is my command post defective or missing something? Thanks for your reply in advance.

Maybe you have each set of 2 poles in the others position?:)

I know nothing about this piece...but yea...maybe swap the front and back dowels...looks like it would line up much more even.

We made a change to this product about 4 months ago. I made changes to the poles and split the base into 2 pieces. This was done to add to the modularity of the product.

First off the front 2 poles need to be pushed in all the way (may be snug but can be pushed down to the same height as the back polls). We made the roof and poles separate to add versatility. Now this can be shown without roof or add camo net on the poles.

I need to get the pictures updated, sorry for any confusion.

If you have any problems setting the poles just contact me at mark@build-a-rama.com or call 480-577-9043.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Mark, thanks for the reply. I pushed the poles as far as I could, but because the rear piece is lower and you want that lean to effect, the front would have to be higher than the rear. The problem for me is that, I can not get the roof to be secure. Very easy to collapse. I guess I could solve the problem with some kind of putty or clay, but I hoping you may have a better solution. I may call you in the next couple days.

Mark, I got this pretty much solved. One of the front holes was not drilled properly and was cracked, So I couldn't drill it further. I cut the pole instead, so the roof sits lower and is more secure. I'll apply some glue to the cracked pole holder so its a little stronger and don't break. Thank you for your input and I'm sorry I didn't examine this earlier before posting this thread. All is good.

Thanks for letting me know. If you have any other problems or need new poles just give me a call.

If you want to keep the roof in place, but not permanent, use low temp hot glue. A little goes a long way.

Thanks again,
Mark Vuncannon
