Question for you FJ experts (1 Viewer)

I have just realised i have a concord book by R.Volstad entitled Fallschirmjager and on page 33 there is a very good pic of FJ's of 1FJD using a Pak 38 at Salerno in 1943.And also a Pak 40 in Rome, but this is later than the sets we are getting as it is in 1944.Excellant book this has some great pics.

That's a really cool book. I keep intending to track a copy down.

I saw one in Foyles of London a while back.Next time i'm in there i'll check it out and if they've got one i'll get it for you James. Its really good becuase it shows FJ's using all sorts of weapons/equip across the whole war in all theatres.

Rob,

That has to be the best book shop in the world! I haven't seen so many books in one place. I can remember spending hours in the Military section :)

I know what you mean Jeff,i have to pull up a chair and sit in wonder!!!!.They have a great collection of Osprey books there but they are cheaper online. They have started stocking concord books too,and so many different books on WW1/2.Its like a military book heaven!

Ron,Concord books are a range of books on Tanks/Armour/Soldiers that feature coloured plates by the like of R.Volstad etc, similar as used in the Osprey series and on the boxes of the 1/6 scale figures of Dragon Models.

It is a large range of titles featuring every sort of Tank piece of armour you can imagine acroos all theatres of WW2.I have descovered a website called 'World War two books' that supply them from the UK.However i'm sure someone on here can give you a supplier nearer to you as they are very popular.
