Questions for John in London? (1 Viewer)

My last shelf is being saved for Bushy Run, so no shelf space for any new BoM items or anything else, so .... no questions!!!

WAIT, WAIT, OMG ---- THE BLACKSMITH SHOP --- WHEN!!!

You should sell off your collection to make extra room for Bushy Run. It should be enormous when John gets around to it. ;)

I would like to know why John doesn't do the 48th for Monongahela?

If I am not mistaken Combat, I remember John saying that he really hasn't had many requests for the 48th. The requests have been for more 44th Grenadier figures and 44th Regulars.

44th much more SNAZZY then the 48th!!! John loves the snaz!!!

44th yellow facings and linings. 48th is a buff color.

Both regiments should be represented. We need more British officers.Good to see Grenadier officer and the Halketts.

Yellow and buff facings look very similar, contast wise. What we really could use are the black facings and regimental colors of the 58th Foot at Quebec. I think the 2/60th Foot also had black facings at Quebec, though I'm not sure of this. Still, black would make an interesting color choice for John's figures. -- Al

I spoke at length with John at the London show today and will start a new thread with the answers.

What's everybody think of the new BOM?I think they look real good but I still want more British/French officers and some French/Indian dead/wounded.Greedy ain't I?But as long as we want, want, want John stays in business.

If I am not mistaken, there were to be 10 figures for BoM at the London Show. The picture below by aujj65 only shows 8 figures. Are these the only ones that made it to the show I wonder? There are to be six new sets total for the 44th.

These do look awesome! Love the sculpts.

If you look at the figure by itself behind the artillery set, I guess this could be a wounded piece for BoM?

Well if I am not mistaken it is a Jacobite rebellion figure, either a new flagbearer or new lochaber axe figure - maybe someone has a pic that shows more?

My guess is, this one is from one of the 3 battallions of the Atholl Brigade placed at the utmost right of the Jacobite front line (with Lochiel's Camerons to their left). The Flag being white with either a red or a blue saltire!

I really like the more dynamic poses of the new BOM and Sudan figures. That's a great improvement in my opinion. Another example of John addressing input from his collectors. These look about as good as it gets.
