Quick Question- 1/35 english road width? (1 Viewer)

I'm building a diorama with a scratch built english road but i have no idea how wide it should be. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm just talking about a typical 2 way road. Thanks

Each lane can vary between about 10 feet for more built up areas, to about 15 feet for more main roads. Pavements on average, will be another 5 - 7 feet each (although you'll always have a good deal of varience).

For the road itself (minus pavmment), you'd be looking at anywhere between 20 - 30cm for both lanes in 1/35.
