I was just wondering if Britains ever produced a German 88mm flak cannon? If so where can I get one?;)

Yes, in the early 2000's, I have one, it's not bad....The seats are a little fragile, and require care when placing the figures in place...I'm sure one of the other members knows a web site for some one who is selling them.. The 88 came out at the same time as the Long Tom.

The item number is 17246 and it came with 5 figures. First appeared in the 2002 catalogue.

I had a look at a couple of sites and I didn't see that item listed. I would suggest ebay as being your best bet.

I can't find it either. I guess I will have to keep looking or buy one from a different manufacturer.:(

It took me years to track down a Britains 88 mm and that set is by far the hardest set to find from that Britains artillery range. The next hardest to get is the Britains 155 mm Long Tom which also has a good gun crew with it. I'm a 88 mm junky and have several of them in model form.

Oz,
Your right! There is something about the 88. I have several from different companies. I love these things!!!!

I have to admit the 88 is one of my favourite models, to the extent i ended up buying two of them.

The first one i bought was and still is the most expensive Britains model i have ever bought. It still is a rear find - but really worth it
Andrew
