RAF 112 Squadron P-51D (1 Viewer)

Here's a 21st Century 1/32 scale P-51D of the RAF 112 Squadron "Sharkmouths" from Italy 1945. Not really a diorama here more just a display of this excellent model. I purchased this a few years ago and took it out of the box today and was really pleasantly surprised at the detail and paintwork done on this aircraft. Some of the earlier 21st century P-51's that I have are not the quality of this one. I believe this is one of the later ones they produced and seem to have improved the quality over time. It's too bad they are no longer in business as they were producing some nice detail armor and aircraft for inexpensive prices. I was considering adding some weathering to this model, but it's so "pretty" as is, I might just leave it alone.

Yeah Al, I sure hate that they are gone. Certainly was a bargain for around $20.

Hobbymaster have made this plane in 1/48 & very nice it is
