RAF 23 Squadron K&C Mosquito at Little Snoring (1 Viewer)

Cheers Vandilay:

I have been looking for this Little Legion RAF set you mentioned with no luck so far. I need a wingman as in some help finding these RAF pilots if available at all.

Try calling Paul Herrman of the Toy Soldier Shoppe in Wauwautusa, Wisconsin (he's listed as a dealer on the K&C website) - he's the Little Legion U.S. distributor, and a really nice and helpful guy.

Beaufighter,

I called Paul for you. he told me that the RAF set was an early Little Legion product that hasn't been in the catalogue for a while. However, he is speaking to the owner of Little Legion next week, and see if he can obtain a set for you.

Beaufighter , I contacted Mike at little legion about it ,maybe 10 months
back . Although it wasent in their catalogue anymore he was good enough to
make a set for me .
So if you have no luck with Louis suggestion try contacting them directly.

Louis & Vandilay:

Many thanks my faithful wingmen for helping me out like this. The effort was very much appreciated no matter the result! I sure would like to have a set though!!!

My Very Best,
Beaufighter

Beaufighter,

Paul Hermann at the Toy Soldier Shoppe said he could have one made for you. His number is 414-302-1850.

That's what friends are for. Our friend Nasir Kasmani just did me a huge solid on my quest for Honour Bound, so I was just paying it forward. :)

Cheers Forum Squadron Members:

For your viewing entertainment is a rare one of a kind K&C dh98 Mosquito from 23 Squadron in a small vignette depicting RAF Little Snoring. Also pictured are some of the older glossy K&C RAF figures accompanied by some Corgi & Frontline sets. The buildings are Frontline & JG Miniatures respectively. Enjoy!

The mosquito was made of wood wasn't it? Was in Tempe a few weeks ago for the UGA game. Arizona is a very nice place. Drew

Cheers Drew:

Yes, a lot of its construction was wood thus the nickname of "Termite Delight" & "Wooden Wonder" to name a few. Good thing I am not ASU alumni as I trust you enjoyed the thrashing of the Sun Devils. Glad you had a great time!

Hang Tough,
Beaufighter
