Would collectors object to Brian re-issuing past released models with new camo paint schemes. I am being a little selfish here, in that I am not a fan of the blocks of color camo on the Panther and Panzer 4, but rather the camo from the Tiger and 1/2 track scheme..I would love a CS Panther in a more simple pattern...Michael

I would not mind though, I think many would. Perhaps a new panther variant with a new colour scheme would be better
Mitch

Are the current Panther and Mk.4 color schemes inaccurate or is this just a matter of taste? I haven't really studied all the schemes that might have been applied. How about a re-issue of the Panther in Peiper's KG BoB colors? -- Al

The colour schemes are correct but, also one must remember that the variations of camo patterns was very varied as the crews themselves applied the colours differently in field.

I like Panthers, so a re-issue would be fine with me.

Hi Michael I was thinking the same thing & already asked Brain if he would make a ambush camo Panther :)

I am no pro, but I thought the Panther was in ambush camo already. I am more of a fan of the subdued stuff, but it would be cool to have multiple Panthers with different patterns on display..Michael

The ambush pattern has broader areas of the 3 colours than the "snakes" on the shown model and most importantly has large dots of colour to simulate the stippled light pattern of light filtering through the trees where the panzers hid by day after D-Day. The photos in the first post of the new CS King Tigers show a Henschel turret KT with a very well done ambush camo pattern. http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24996&page=6

Upon further investigation, the CS paint job seems to be very much like some of the Panthers in Peiper's KG. Someone did their research well. -- Al
