Re: New Bowie's Last Battle

Andy,

I will definitely be buying one of the new Alamo’s Bowie’s Last Battle set, RTA 034. However, is there any chance of you releasing the two Mexican Army figures separately? I would like multiples of them, but don’t need multiples of Jim Bowie in bed.

The same question could be used in regard to set NA 87, the Sgt Ewart set. I would like to have multiples of the French infantrymen without buying more of Sgt. Ewart.

Funny you should mention that because I though the same thing when I saw That set with the bed ridden bowie. The two mexican figures with the set are good poses to have multiples of. Thats one thing I like about the K&C napoleonics they are sold in singles so you don,t get stuck with bum poses you don,t like when buying add ons to your collection.

You being a Texan you have to buy one. How is you Toy Soldier display room doing, are you finished yet.
I've got a couple model kits I need to send you. Send me your mailing address.

Alex

I would love to know how you make the time??

Okay, okay I know Michael Anthony stopped by with your check for

3 million (figure inflation) so you no longer have to work.

But where do you find the time to paint all those terrific pieces you do?

I take the wife to lunch, fool around in the den for a while, play with

the dog its 8:30pm.

Re: New Bowie's Last Battle

Well my bedtime is around midnight so that gives me a few extra hours and my wife is very supportive and gives me my space. Then there are some projects that I started a while back then I get in the mood again and finish them. :)

Yes Chuck I'll be getting one. The room is coming along slowly. I just got to stop buying toy soldiers so I can have more money for the room. :) I'll send you my address. After meeting Ken Osen last year he sent me a bunch of odds and ends of 1/35 kits and figures galore just because. Cool guy. :)

You need to call a certain Italian American gentleman ;)

Re: New Bowie's Last Battle

Who is Michael Anthony and where is my check?:)

Alex

He's from an old 1950's tv show The Millionare.......every week

Michael Anthony would be called into the office of the fabulously wealthy

(I think he had a couple of early McDonald franchises) John Bearsfoot

Tipton. He would be handed an envelope and told "Mike our next millionare"

Old Mike would go find the lucky person.....give them a few bucks, and

put the rest in his secret swiss bank account.............

Cmon we aren't old I'm.....wait let me ask the wife 57 with two Harleys

downstairs, a surfboard in my den......and an extra 100lbs I carry around

(to stay fit) from when I was 18.

I have been enjoying lately the entire 3rd season of Have Gun Will Travel...

I used to enjoy that on Saturday nights at 9:30 with my mom while my

dad slept on the couch.

It was cool except when a loud noise woke up my Dad.....having spent

years in combat in WWII loud noises would cause him to jump up.....look

all around usually focus on me and yell "Get To Bed"!!

My Dad who is now 86 I (lost my Mom 20 years ago) went all through Italy,

Belgium, France and German lugging a BAR without a scratch. He was finally

wounded ... shot in the thumb while playing cards behind the lines by a

sniper! They got the sniper, but my dad lost the hand when everyone dove

for cover.
