Would any members be interested in a Re-Release of this set:

It's a great set and commands unbelievable prices on ebay! I got a set years ago and it's one of my favourites!

Andy could do it for Dday Americans, USMC, battle of the bulge, FOB?

A fresh revamped set would be ace or even some single figures released in similar poses or even:

Falling shot in the chest
Falling shot in the leg
Falling to the side shot in the arm
Falling to knees shot in shoulder
Tumbling shot in legs

Scott

I would be very much interested, I have a lot of wounded US troops made by K&C, but never what I call "in action " ( except for 1 BBA set)

Hi Guys,
While I always appreciate your suggestions and ideas...

It's also worth noting that K&C has produced more GI's 'in action' and all kinds of other GI poses and figures than all the other toy soldier companies combined!

Just consider what has been released in the last few months alone and then count up what has appeared since we really began producing GI's back in 1998...

And now for the good news...I am going up to China this coming week to brief our sculpting team.
The idea you proposed and suggested is on the 'list'.

All the Festive best...and many thanks,
Andy.

Thanks Andy!

You're right mate you have produced more over the years than any other manufacturer and the releases only get better and better and even when we think you have maxed yourself out of amazing releases you surprise us with yet more brilliant pieces!

Keep it up mate and thanks for always striving to stay the best! It's what makes K&C so fun to collect!

Scott

For me a big yes for wounded and fallen figures in all series!
The toy Soldiers collection world has changed in the years. most of the collectors put their figures in a diorama and victims can not be missed in A diorama (war is hell).
KC already has a few fallen figures in many series. I like what Andy does with the new USMC series. I already count five marines victims of war. 👍
We can also use a few in the GI's DD, BBA and JN series.

I'm certain a lot of USMC collectors would love to add figures like these to their collection.

Do you mean the mine laying surprise? I have this set too and agree that it's great only wish there wete more similair sets!

Lying dead/wounded look great in dioramas but the actual action of falling wounded or being blown back by mortar fire is what is lacking but I'm sure Andy will sort that!:wink2:

I think there is some misunderstanding here : with "in action" I meant "Shot in action" of course

I would be interested in that DD set with in-action poses that Scott posted. Time for a reboot of that set.

I would like to check if it is possible to produce 1/2 body (below waist high) or 3/4 body sets (knee high) of D Day figures wading through the water in a beach landing scenario as well. Maybe I am the only one requesting for this.... It can come with or without bases. With bases, perhaps it can be a waterline base.

Totally agree mate it really would be awesome wouldn't it! No manufacturer has ever attempted this, I mean just look at how well Andy does his half tankers! Imagine them but with Invasion gear, maybe from the ankles, knees, thighs, waists or even chest up!^&grin^&cool
