Hi all I joined this year the W Britains Collectors club and order 2 of the Zulu gigure never recieved it, also placed another purchase of 2 items and 7 weeks later nothing, also no responses to my emails, is this a common problem. Trevor

Hi Trevor, hang in there, a bit slower to get here in OZ. Also waiting for the latest Standard and 2 Zulu club figures. Confident they will come, did receive my plastic membership card last week so I am on the books. If you have nothing in the next 2 weeks perhaps you could send a message to the owner Richard, he is very approachable. The forum members in other countries are just starting to report they are now receiving the club figures, so hopefully yours are only days away. Good luck, cheers, Robin.

Hi Trevor - I am sorry to hear about this. Something may have fallen through the cracks on our end or it might just be making its way slowly. Regardless, I'd like to look into it rather than wait any longer - so send me an email with your details to - richardwalker@1st-gear.com.

Look forward to getting this sorted for you, and thank you for (trying!) to join the club!

Richard

I also have now received the Standard and the Catalogue but not the club figures I had ordered. This from the UK club. Also my email concerning this matter has had no reply. Any clues?

I didn't receive a club folder or a membership card, and have not yet received the latest club package. The latter I amused to, as I usually get them latter than most people (which I am fine with, as I always get them sooner or later^&cool). I just wanted to make sure that there was, in fact, no folder this year. Thanks,
Sandor

I received an email that my CC figure has been shipped on June 20.
Nothing on membership card or Standard and catalogue

I didn't receive my membership card either, but did get my figure which seems to have fought a few Frenchmen on the way here as his sword seems to be less than serviceable with a noticeable bend in the middle of the blade. Seems there have been a few let downs this year? Hope everyone else gets their kits in a good state.

Sorry to hear that thrawn. From reading previous threads, the manufacturers listed on this forum stand behind their products, including W. Britain. I wouldn't lose confidence in Britains, I have a several hundred Britains figures in my collection and have never received one in a damaged state.

I would have to agree with you, never a damaged one either for me and all in perfect shape.

Unfortunately, I have received couple (2). One was a delicate loading figure, with a broken ramrod and musket. the other was the 95th rifles club set, which was more mispainted than broken (he had a silver spill on his back, and a skin tone collar and mutton chops, which made hi look like a Star Wars creature). In the first case, the dealer just replaced him, in the second, I emailed WBritain, and received a replacement, at no charge whatsoever. On another instance, a rather large set I ordered was missing a figure- again, one showed up in the mail a couple days latter. So why am I saying all these "negative" things about WBritain? The answer is that they have ALWAYS dealt with EVERY concern of mine in a VERY kind and completely satisfactory way. That is probably the reason they are and always will be #1 for me, even though some other companies make sometimes have figures which I prefer, they always stand behind their product, and keep it "detailed, quality, and authentic." If I were you, I would give Richard an email- you won't be disappointed.
Regards,
Sandor:salute::

You guys are exactly right, a small little let down like this will certainly not drive me away from W Britains. The overall quality of their soldiers is beyond compare for me.

Hi Josh and other US members:

Well - the darn card machine broke, it is fixed now and we will be mailing cards with your August Standard. It broke as we were stuffing the boxes for the latest release and rather than delay the mailing any longer with an explanation letter we let it fly. So, sorry for this and it will be coming in August!

Club folders are coming with this mailing. Last of US members boxes left Friday.

Darn Frenchmen - they are tough adversaries, but that aside the heavy cavalry of His Majesty's 1st Royal Dragoons should be able to see off even the most determined French assault without a bend in the blade! Suitable reinforcements on the way to you Josh. Good luck and godspeed with the French.

Richard

Richard,
Outside of Treefrog itself, I would be hard pressed to come up with a company as deserving of its customers as W Britain. Your dedication to your customers its absolutely commendable. Thank you for your efforts and the time you take to reply to all of our questions and concerns.
Best,
Josh
