Wayne.

No doubt about it Wayne, your scenes are so realistic.....bases covered, interesting posed figures and backdrop appropriate. You have done a wonderful job with Tom's carriages. Like the idea you are using them around this WW1 era, they fit so well. Looking forward to seeing them in many more scenes in the future. :salute::, Robin.

Thanks mate, I was over combat poses long ago, non combat figures lend much, much more to ones imagination and allows more creativity plus I can't afford a whole battalion of ALH :wink2: We have been invited to participate in this years Brisbane model Train Show and this dio will be reproduced on a 6'x4' board, it will be a static diorama but will be a Train theme of course based around Beersheba station 1917. Also there will be a WW2 static dio of Tiger tanks on flat cars somewhere in Russia, some of us collect such things.......^&grin

Really exciting year for ALH and the 2 releases for this year you will be lusting after Wayne. Understand they are to be based around camp life. Hopefully the first ones will be on show in the March tour of Oz. If it's a competition with the train dio, you will win hands down, keep the scenes coming. Robin.

As usual another fantastic diorama from you! :salute::
Always great to see your ideas.
Steve

Wayne,

Really like those TGM WWI figures will have to see if they are still available they really come alive in the train DIO.

As always great work just have to see what you can do with the odd Tiger and Panther

Ah......it is going to be what 'you' can do with the odd Tiger and Panther. :wink2:

A good Aussie infantryman WOULD NEVER lye his rifle on the ground so I gather these blokes aren't grunts mate, probably rear echelon poges ^&grin^&grin

A beauty mate look forward to more train and station.

Mate, what can I say, rear area types and besides any one with Sherrin has got to be dodgy.......:wink2:

Wayne, i'll echo Robin's words and say those carriages have really scrubbed up well (figuratively speaking)! Would be great to see more detailed pic's of that passenger car to see what you have done with that one as well. Awesome stuff being invited to participate in the Brissy Train Show, I'm sure you'll blow everyone away with the dio. I'm also looking forward to seeing Mark's Panzer's appearing on the tracks! Oh and great scene once again mate.

Tom

Very creative diorama, well photographed. Thank you for that.
