real Xmas tree or fake one?? (1 Viewer)

Real al the way. Its certainly great to have the fresh scent of pine in the house. I also use real Garland to decorate the room and rails of the stairs. Wreath is real as well.

Got some snow here today very Christmasy!

We usually had a artificial tree for many years...but now we go with the real thing.:)

...which is why we Christians adopted the symbol, and put the celebration of Christ's birth at this time. It's a symbol of life dfeating death.

Legend has it that my buddy Martin Luther 'adopted' this tradition. Can you imagine the lovely candles on the trees in the old country (and the number of houses that must have burned because of them!).

We're a live tree family here...just went on Saturday and cut one. Nothing smells better :)

Every December, my sister-in-law asks us to come over to see her tree, which is the same artificial tree with the same artificial ornaments that she has had for the past ten years. Nothing different from year to year, but we go to see it anyway. We always get a kick out of that. My wife and I would never consider a fake Christmas tree for ourselves, but I can understand why most people have gone that less expensive, lower hassle route. Hey, we were the last people we know to get a microwave oven.
