In the last month or so I decided to sell off some my older K&C sets & figures. There were right at 25 sets with the total sales a little over $2000. I then took off 13% for the paypal & ebay fees. Then compared what I had paid and when all was said and done I made a profit of around $100. I was curious in regards to the secondary market. I actually was surprised I made a few dollars. I would have been happy just to break even. Any one else do this?

You also have to account for the fact that you're freeing up funds (even if a slight profit or loss) to use for other needs, such as your other hobby.

Brad that is why I sold those sets, my other hobby. I have always said this about any kind of collectebles. They all have some sort of resale value. Except for my wifes tubs of beannie babies. They are not worth the dust they are collecting!
