Michael,

Yes the BAL-02 set is an excellent set one of John's best, mine turned up this week too.

Very much like the tree stumps, home made, what are they made of?

Thanks Andrew,

Fishhead showed me how to make them from air drying modeling clay.

I used Sculpey.

Took them all out of the boxes and put the china in the closet. These probably cost more than the china anyway.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, 24 pictures, everyone is bad, but at least I'm consistent.;)

I'll try again in the daylight without the flash. The flash in the mirrored back killing me.

Anyway, that's it, a few coming in the mail, plus the two horses and pull carts.

For refernce sake,

It's Monongahela on top, Chippawa in the middle and Snow Shoes on the bottom.

The photos are my worst effort yet, but I swear, in person it LOOKS GOOD!

Custom terrain was made by me, lol.

Michael

PS...I still need BM01, BM03, BM06, BM08 and FM02.

Got lots to swap if we can work a deal.

Michael,

Looks very nice! I haven't come across any of those sets yet either.

Michael,

Your photos look great! Impressive John Jenkin's displays.

Ken

You have an outstanding JJD collection Michael and I really like the curio you have for your display.

It's nice seeing your new figures and sets out of their red boxes Michael and bet you enjoy the unpacking of them. Nice set up in the way set set each of the series in your curio cabinet and I'm sure you'll resolve the issue with the lighting and flash in your next batch of photos and all I've got to say at this point is WOW your toy slodier collection has grown.......The Lt.

The only picture I have managed to take and upload. It was taken about a year ago - so the JJ collection has probably doubled.

Wow Mike you have been busy.Could someone take a picture of the Braddock figure from another angle,I've only seen the right side of it.
Mark

BM-01 still on ebay. It's up to $190 now "whew".What will it be in 5 days.
Mark

Marco,

I hope this helps.

The Braddock figure is very nice, very heavy, and he can be removed from his mount.

The two foot soldiers both seem to be posed dodging fire, while one steadies his steed.

The sabre in his hand, like all the Jenkin's casts, is extremely sturdy, it won't bend easily.

I was so embarrassed of the china hutch pictures, that I am re-doing them all.

These are my Battle of Monongahela.

Not perfect photos, but definitely better than the first ones.
