Thought I'd try another photo with my new phone to share the results of recent scrounging for ACW kits by WB (and some others you'll no doubt recognize). I wanted to assemble this little grouping before the ACW releases proceed any further as the year wears on. These are all really nice figures and will look forward to adding more characters to the scene in the coming months. Plus, as you can see I am going to need to come up with a better landscape one of these days......

Nice looking group of WB & ONTC sets all of which were sculpted by Ken Osen so they go perfectly together. I have all of these figures too, and really like them alot. I used all of these in one of my latest threads "Taking the Guns???". Ken puts a lot of detail in all his sculpts that only someone with his level of historical knowledge and experience at ACW re-enacting/living history can do. Should we start calling you "Scrounger" - you seem to be good at it.

Thanks Mike. Agreed with your sentiments here regarding the figures. Maybe Ken can help me out with my landscaping issues as well. :D

Thanks Scott. These are mostly items I wanted at the time of their initial release and passed on for other things. Shame I waited this long as these have quickly become my current favorites hands down.

Dave,

Nice collection of figures I agree. As for the landscape - you just need a bit more Green paint! ;):D

I'm trying to do the same thing Dave..the Civil War figures sculpted by Ken are one of my favourite range of all the toy soldier world..you can see the hand of the reenactor in them..

Nice grouping. Im still catching up with alot of these figures myself. Are you going to collect the entire series starting from the valley series ? Or just different sets you want?

A very Postmodern photo combining pop culture military miniatures with a Jackson Pollock style landscape. Pollock did Autumn Rhythm. How about calling yours Spring Scrounging?

:D

I like it Randy. And thanks for the additional comments, guys. Some of these were a little trickier than others to track down, but by no means impossible in any case.

Now about that landscape.....it will likely involve some green stuff....just not sure it'll be green paint though....
