Got my #213 Tiger today from George. Arrived in great shape. It was well packaged and except for a bent hull mg, there were no other issues. It is a solid and heavy piece. Colored a little darker than I like, but otherwise, I am happy with this piece. I did place it next to my K/C Tiger and there was almost no size difference, except for K/C longer gun barrel. The K/C figures look fine with the Figarti, as well as the Figart figure sitting fine in the K/C. The tracks are separate pieces from the bogies and actually flex .Look like they were made be to roll........Michael

Michael,

Good to hear your Tiger arrived in good shape, we put A LOT of effort behind this packaging and your confirmation is a good sign.

Everyone else, please let me know how your Tigers arrive. Thanks.

Michael, thank you for supporting Figarti.

Looks impressive! I have heard from previous posts that each of the five versions will have tank commanders in different poses and paint schemes for the crew. Does anyone have photos to what the crew of each version looks like?

Dear Ken,

I posted pictures of some of the crew variations in the thread: "Achtung Tiger!!!, Pics of production model." :)

Thanks Steve!

I previously saw your posts and became interested in the tigers. It appears all of your pictures are of the Winter '43 and the Autumn '44 versions (?). I was curious to see what Figarti did with the three Summer versions.

I finally opened one of my Tigers, and I am sad to say that mine came with a broken machine gun mount on the turret hatch. I will fix it with crazy glue, but I think that some attention should be paid to the top of the turret.

I had heard that they really did a great job this time. That's too bad.

Rick,

The Tiger is magnificent!! The decision to mold many parts separate from the main tank body and then attach them really paid off well. It look like it took a lot of work to assemble it.

It was very safely packaged, but I did have the same problem as maddadicus and Louis Badolato. The hull machinegun was bent and one hatch handle on top of the turret broke off during shipping. Both were minor problems easily fixed. Given the amount of detailed pieces and delicate add-ons, the extra foam padding helped protect it.

I think it is the best built tank on the market and I am looking forward to any future vehicles and artillery (nice job with the Japanese 150mm) you produce.

Over all when I recieved my Tiger #301 Russia Dec.1943 in winter camo it was in good contition, after some time to inspect it a few item's had been broken off:( . One of the canteen's and a I guest it was a some kind of a bed roll or something like that was attached to the inside of the turret wall. After a while I figured out were they came from because of the spot on the wall. Also on the top of the outer hull were the engine hatch is one of the lift handle's was missing.I didn't know what was supposed to be on the hull until I recieved my second Tiger #313 Russia June 1944 to use as what goes were, also the gunner in this Tiger was looking threw the targetting scope were on my other Tiger #301 the gunner was looking down at a piece of paper with a pencil in his right hand like he was writing this made placing him difficult to place him in his seat because the targetting scope was in the way. Also the utility piece's tow cables that are on top of the rear of the hull were broken off luckly I was able to replace back to their spot's or repair all of the damage. All in all I like the look of these Tiger's and level of detail also I'd like to see Divional marking on the front of the hull like K&C put on thier Tiger's and Panther's. I hope my next Tiger will be in better shape.

My tiger had unglued gun mount, broken rail + the MG was only painted on one side. I expect more when I pay $299.99 for something. I like the tank very much.

Chuck,

Don't know what happened, our Tigers overall held up well for shipping to the US, and the paint problem should not have happened. Please take a digital photo of the missing paint on one side so I can show my QC guy at our Factory.

Dear USMC68,

Thank you for supporting Figarti Miniatures and I appreciate your comments as well as apologize for the tank arriving with minor damages. We tried to protect this particular item especially well because of its weight and over 950 parts (Mostly metal). We will try to do better in the future. If you feel there is anything we need to see in regards to problems with the actual tank, please sen dme a digital photo so that I can show my team in Shanghai.

Thank you again for supporting Figarti Miniatures.

Rick:

I have been a die-hard WWII KC collector (with substantial investment) and have been watching on the sidelines and have observed the remarkedly improved quality of Figarti. I am particularly impressed with the Amtraks (the 3 versions of them) and the SAS jeep. (How I wish the figures are removable as there are some of us who collect vehicles in squads and it will look odd to see 3 jeeps with driver & crew all in the same pose...take a cue from HB Panthers).

Anyways, looking forward in seeing some of your great work in the future.

One of my Tigers, as I had previously noted, came with one minor piece of damage to the turret machine gun mount, which I was able to repair. The other came perfect, without a single defect. I am really impressed with Figarti's vehicles, although I agree it would be better if the figures did not come affixed to the vehicle. Keep up the excellent work!

Rick
Please give us some more inforamtion about those Arab horsemen that Steven and Carlos photographed at the West Coaster

Rick

I have all ready repaired the Tank & painted the MG. I should made a digital photo but I did not. The MG was wraped in it's paper but only one side was painted.

I received my Tiger today and it is stunning. It is an incredible piece of engineering. It arrived safely.

Rick, I am very impressed and genuflecting in apology for whatever criticism I may have raised. It's really something else.

Dear Brad,

What was special about your Tiger? Different tank number? Different camouflage?:)
